Meat: The Original Superfood

Meat has a bad reputation. Most people think of meat, especially red meat, as dangerously unhealthy. However ....

Meat is the only nutritionally complete food

Animal foods (particularly when organ meats are included) contain all of the protein, fat, vitamins and minerals that humans need to function. They contain absolutely everything we need in just the right proportions. That makes sense, because for most of human history, these would have been the only foods available just about everywhere on the planet in all seasons.

Pork belly for us. Shouldve added that one

how can someone be vegetarian after eating that

Pizza is Italian.

American beer is low alcohol, what I consider light beer, not even really beer.
I like Sushi also, I suppose you will be claiming that is American also?

I did go to an American restaurant once, the hamburgers were terrible, I will leave the clown food to you Americans.

Going to an American restaurant once hardly qualifies you to pass judgement. The US has thousands of restaurants with some of the best food available, as their chefs are from old school thinking from all countries. The difference between a good hamburger and an excellent one is who's preparing it, and the meat used, just as the difference between NYC/New Jersey/Italy pizza and The Pizza Company is night and day.

I used to live in New Jersey and worked in NYC. There are so many excellent pizza restaurants there it's hard to choose a best. When I visited there years back, while I was living in Texas, I went to a different restaurant every day for just a slice. All were top notch, some a tad better than others. The Pizza Company here doesn't compare. You need real Mozzarella cheese. And thin Italian sausage makes a great pie, along with fresh mushrooms and anchovies.

When you can make a pizza with just basic ingredients and one topping and have it be excellent, that's a good pizza. 10 toppings disguises the pizza with too many flavors.

If you're going to pick beer, at least choose Guinness Stout, Sapporo, Heineken, Samuel Adams or a number of others. Leo and Chang are on par with Budweiser or Miller.

I prefer Leo now days.

( Heineken, Honestly ) :giggle:

Well to be fair Freddy, I did my research before entering and this was Americas most popular hamburger chain. It was very busy and most of the customers were obese.

I found the bun to be over manufactured and not at all crunchy, the hamburger paddy quite small, a disgusting pickle and a very low quality cheese. There was no table service, you had to like up to order and pay and you were given a plastic tray and the burgers were wrapped in a plastic paper. And the tables were not really clean. No real cutlery just one use plastics. The children’s meals came with a free plastic cheap toy.

And my Coke seemed to be watered down.

You Americans love it but I thought it was very disappointing.

What is your definition of low alcohol and which American beers do you have in mind.

What restaurant, as chains aren't the best as far as burgers go. Everywhere you go you see obese people, so that's not worth mentioning. Hopefully you're not talking about McDonalds.

Absolutely true, the US has some of the best restaurants in the world, I ate very well there, much better than in the UK.

In fact Rock Me Burgers in Chiang Mai is one of the best restaurants in the city of food, and it serves American fare.

One of the best pizzas I had was in Philippines. In Cebu, one of those places that use the actual laws the Neapolitans came up with. Much better than a pizza I had in Venice, Italy.
