What ?? So my nephew who’s been in the British army on difficult rounds, is a law abiding citizen , cannot be a tour guide , one of his Swedish friends from school, also cannot be a tour guide ? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. You can’t have different laws for different races. And who knows what this «  Israeli soldier really did in Israel ??

He wasn't being literal or genuine .

He was having a sly little dig at Israelis

He was sarcastically pretending that Israelis should have special treatment  .

His post wasn't meant to  be taken literally

I was just pointing out the difference between speaking about 1 particular person and speaking about a whole Country .

I got condef when you claimed that Israelis are lawless people , when in fact you just meant the one man in the story .

I got even more confused when a staunch Anti Zionist, a self proclaimed Anti Zionist said be believed in Zionism .

I was speaking with a Zionist Anti Zionist and  a person who says Israelis, when he just meant one person .

   Confusing

You again!?😕. Can't you give up? Is it not enough how you present yourself? You're ridiculous 🥴

Well done, you have learnt how to address 1 individual person instead of addressing all the people from that one persons Country .

I am pleased with our success .

It's a matter of intelligence. Don't fret too much. Maybe in your next life ....or never😂

It's obviously irrelevant that he was in the army like nearly all Israeli men and women and a significant percentage of Thai men too.  Media don't mention whether every Thai criminal they write about had been in the army or not.  Why not just describe him as an Israeli citizen?

But, even if we think the reserved occupations that have been around for nearly 100 years are silly, it is still Thai law which people violate at their peril, even though they may be offering a useful service not provided by any Thais.  Presumably he has also been charged with working without WP.
