China has at least five declared overseas bases plus many "outposts" in the harbours airfields etc that it has helped to construct under the Belt and Roads initiative.

Harbours and airfields constructed by the Chinese in other nations only count if they are sovereign Chinese territory. Most US bases are sovereign American territory.
