It is a struggle of titans, to be sure.

 

On paper the future should belong to China. They're smarter, harder working, growing, manufacturing is theirs, steel, cars etc.

 

And yet, and yet....the GDP per capita of the US is around 89000 USD, the GDP per capita of China is around 15000 USD.

 

The unimaginable wealth of the US is staggering. 

 

Plus the US have a lead in the finance industry that is unlikely to ever be matched by China, the nation that has no respect for laws and rules.

I figured they would be shifting out of China, like everyone else has been doing since Covid since it is better to be in a place where you have rule of law, supply chains are shorter and the country is less aggressive and follows the rules.

 

And now the US market is in danger. Xi only holds the 天命; the Mandate of Heaven if he can keep China growing AND have the people benefit.

The US accounts for less than 15% of China exports, I'm sure they can survive if that drops to zero, as most other countries in the world are also shifting their imports from the US to other countries, included from China

No I have something.

 

I have pride and a belief in my country and citizens. I have visions of the future and a belief based on history, philosophy and law that the USA is indeed on the right track for a Golden Age. That makes me happy for my kids. I also have a life.

First of all, one of the marks of someone who has nothing is they put words in someone else's mouth, so to speak. Really, oh you got to offer is a harangue. Nothing at all about remedies for the specific problems at hand. And the reason for that is, there really are none. And what is it with your obsession with emojis?. Actually, you underestimated the level of his corruption, it was six bankruptcies — Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza Hotel, Trump Castle (later Trump Marina), Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, and Trump Entertainment Resorts (which filed twice).
