Lutnick isn't stupid.  And he knows exactly what's he's doing.  Look up his background.  

 

Presently, he's playing the part as a member of Trump's cabinet, espousing Trump's agenda. Some people think he may have ulterior motives, though.  In any event, I'll leave  that issue alone.  But whatever you do, do not think that the man is an idiot.

Agree. In the video, you gotta love his comment on selling corn to India—a country with a surplus and a strong preference for non-GMO. That’s like selling coal to Newcastle.
 

Then there’s the proposal to sell rice to Asia. You know, Asia—the region that invented it and already owns the global market.
 

Now add beef to Australia—a country with a strong trade surplus and one of the world’s top beef exporters, including to the U.S.

Aussies prefer grass-fed, hormone-free, high-end Wagyu. U.S. feedlot beef—possibly with BSE concerns? Not exactly in demand.
 

But hey, Trump only hires the best people.

Thailand needs to prepare for receiving all those goods, originally destined for USA, to start arriving here at fire sale prices. This will kill most manufacturers in Thailand. 

 

USA is on the lookout for "country of origin washing" so I hope some Thai doesn't get the idea of making a quick buck, by buying the Chinese products and relabeling them as made in Thailand. If Thai exporters get caught, Donald will be very unhappy with Thailand.

More examples of low quality, or tainted American exports people don't want. Their arrogance acts as a blinder to the real facts. But, truth is not truth, right?

I don't think it's incumbent upon me to give you remedial reading lessons. I was critiquing the logical proposition inherent in what you claim  that if quantity x is good, then quantity x+y is better and quantity x+y+z is better still. Now as a logical proposition, it works. But as a rational one, not so much. More isn't always better. Sometimes more makes things worse.
