Boeing's Kiss of Death: What is needed now is an engineer to take over?

Dear Folks,

As we all know, in order to run a company like Boeing, one must, first and foremost, be an engineer, and not a bean-counter.

Why has Boeing stumbled and faltered?

Simple:  Boeing strayed from it's core principles, and started focusing on BEANS, instead of Engineering.

Will Boeing be able to turn it around?

YES, of course.

But, Boeing will need to find some tough guy who is both an engineer, and someone who has vision.

Obviously, Boeing does not need another Kiss-of-Death CEO, like this one....

image.png.9a152f4c6e251ae5c3ce98d64280119c.png

What Boeing needs is a MAN who can completely turn the company around, in an entirely new direction, and reach for the stars.

Boeing was once a great company....yet.....

The bean counters drove this company into the ground, both figuratively and sometimes literally.

Some, maybe most, of guys here seem to not care about the glory days of Boeing.

As for me, I still care.

But, I will NOT care unless we get another MUSK-type guy to run this company.

OH, By the Way....

I think Elon is really not busy enough, these days.

Maybe Elon should BUY-OUT Boeing, and turn this company around.

Could Elon save Boeing from itself?

Most assuredly, he could.

But, does Elon have the will to do so?

Maybe he does because...there could be quite a bit of SYNERGY if Elon were to BUY-OUT Boeing, which would be his Major Coup of a lifetime, and then turn the company completely on its head, and, thereby build Boeing back to its.....

Former Glory.

What do you think?

Should we petition Elon to suck it up, and Suck UP Boeing, and just show the world the balls that we know Elon does have?

We cannot have Boeing Company continue on in this languorous limbo of having CEOs that are plagued by and associated with the Kiss of Death.

Best regards,

And wishing that Boeing will, once again, rise like the Phoenix...and STOP being...the

Tired Old Bird that it has truly become under decades of mismanagement.

We need action now.....!!!!

Gamma

===============================

Boeing is just a KISS AWAY, a KISS AWAY...from....

Its former glory....

BELIEVE ME.

We just need the RIGHT MAN for the RIGHT JOB......

======================

Just a kiss away.....

The flood is threat'ning

My very life today

Gimme, Gimme Shelter....

OR I'M GONNA FADE AWAY....

So very true.....

Boeing should listen....

You see, FOLKS....

Boeing is no longer....

Hard enough

Rough enough

Tough enough

Smart enough

Rich enough...

To be successful.

ENGINEERING IS HARD.

THE NATURAL SCIENCES ARE HARD.

No BEAN COUNTER can ever measure up.

Yet, Boeing is now being lead by guys who are soft as ....

American Baked Beans.

Just mushy....down deep...inside.

Just mushy.

And, mushy is the right word for Boeing, these days, compared to....

The 60s, when we had REAL MEN leading this important company.

I am ashamed.

Not for myself.

I am ashamed for what Boeing has become.

Engineering is HARD.

We need a HARD MAN at the helm to guide Boeing back to....

What this great company was always meant to be.

If not MUSK...then....

Who?

Me?

NO!

But, there is a MAN for the job....SOMEWHERE.....

We need to find him, maybe on TV?

NO!

But, somewhere.....

Somebody, a MAN, who is HARD.....

A hard man.

That's what we need.....

================

Pretty, Pretty, Pretty, Pretty...PRETTY girl....

Come home to me......

Boeing planes are made up of parts from 73 countries ,, only 28% of any Boeing Commercial plane is made in USA   so Trumps tariffs  are going to really hurt Boeing and Gulfstream  ,,,  it will take them more than 10 years  and hundreds of Billions $   to create same supply chains in USA that are of same quality or certification which is highly unlikely so  they will lose massive market share to Airbus, Comac, Embraer  and others  etc   who will be able to access the global supply chains  much more easily   ....  Im sur e Boeing and other Fortune 500 companies are   screaming in Trumps ear that he is destroying USA

They would.

They are the prostitutes that got us into this predicament in the first place.

They are NOT forward thinkers.

They are not strategic thinkers, past the next short-time hookup.

They are short-time girls.

They are just ENRON nitwits that get paid way beyond their value to society, or way beyond their value to shareholders, for that matter.

They should be ridden out on rails.

Every one.

Hold the tar.

I bought a good number of shares in Airbus on Friday, on the news that China has restricted the export of Boeing planes to their airlines. Today I read, that the first plane was already returned to the US.

Airbus is a big conglomerate, actually getting engines for some of their planes from the US, so they will get hurt in the tariffs as well. Ramping up production to fill the market gap will not happen for Airbus overnight either.

But, if Trump does not reverse his crazy China tariffs within the next few weeks, I guess Airbus will come out on top strongly, and I expect the stock price to reflect this speculation shortly.

Agree, Boeing, like many other legendary U.S. companies, made the fateful decision by relying on foreign suppliers.  However, as a major defense contractor, the DOD could have stopped that.  Lots of blame to go around.

Now Trump is making a bad situation worse, much, much worse.

You sound like the Next Warren Buffett.

Better invest in Berkshire Hathaway, is my best advice to you.

I would have given you the same advice many years ago, but....

I didn't know you, back then.

Yes, you are correct.

Although, it was very obvious to us...beginning back in the early 1980s, when all this crazy outsourcing began.

Now, though, might it be too late to put Humpty back together, again?

While Berkshire Hathaway is not uninteresting from the outside, it is a poison stock -- all US stocks are under boycott, I am concentrating solely on European stocks (and Airbus as a worldwide conglomerate is right at the outer fringe for that).

My depot is currently up more than 20% due to that strategy, which is crazy growth for such a very short timeframe.

If Trump does not get deposed within the next few weeks, I guess the US stock markets will crash so hard, it would be crazy to invest currently, even if not boycotted. They are simply not a value proposition.

OK.

See you after the crash, then.
