Why haven't you learned Thai even after several years as an expat in Thailand?
That's the issue with Isaan Lao, try google translate and it's gobbledygook. What they do is basically transliteration into Thai script, they write in Thai what they hear in Lao. I speak real Lao, and i can understand most of what they say, but it's tinged with Thai so a bit of a hybrid -

Accident Death of Taxi Driver Following Road Rage Incident with Truck Driver in Nakhon Pathom
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A taxi driver has been found dead in roadside grass following a violent road rage incident involving a six-wheeled truck in Sam Phran district, Nakhon Pathom province. The shocking incident, which occurred in the early hours of 25 April, was widely circulated on social media. Reports indicate that a pink-and-white taxi was involved in a minor collision with a six-wheel truck, after which the truck driver exited his vehicle, approached the taxi, and assaulted the driver. Witnesses allege that the truck driver also seized the taxi driver’s mobile phone before returning to his vehicle. In an attempt to flee and seek help, the taxi driver drove away and reported the incident to nearby police patrol officers, claiming that he had been attacked and robbed by the truck driver. Shortly after, local residents and rescue personnel discovered the taxi abandoned in a patch of roadside grass. The driver was found inside the vehicle, unresponsive. Rescue workers from the Pranpitak Foundation’s radio centre in Sam Phran attempted to resuscitate the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later confirmed that the truck driver involved in the altercation had turned himself in to police. The case is currently under investigation, with police expected to conduct a full autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Adapted by Asean Now from Khoasod 2025-04-26. -

ALL VACCINES WILL KILL YOU - The evidence is overwhelming
It seems you're one of those individuals who have never been able to connect any dots. Let me break it down for you: @Red Phoenix wrote: (my bold emphasis) …not only is there not a single vaccine that is safe, effective, or in any way necessary, but they will all harm you in varying degrees over time; I gave a perfect example that disproves his argument.... the only effective rabies treatment is the actual rabies vaccine. Is it safe and effective? Considering that death rate without the vaccine is 100% can you argue that it is not safe and effective? Once the rabies symptoms appear.... it is already too late. Can you now connect the dots....??? -

I’ve backpacked through Southpark Asia for years… now i feel quietly pushed out
There was talks before Covid of 'quality tourism' ..... when everything was just way too crowded. One of the options being looked at was banning hostels and cheap tourists who spend nothing, but contribute to crowds, pressures on public infrustructure, rubbish, enviromental damage etc -
