This fiery trend sees Lampang appear three times in the top 10, with Chiang Mai's Muang district closing the list in tenth place. Other northern locales such as Mae Sariang in Mae Hong Son and Mae Sot in Tak also endured blistering temperatures over the weekend. However, the immediate forecast warns of looming summer storms expected from Monday to Thursday, predominantly affecting northern and northeastern provinces. Forecaster Manoon Da-oi cautioned that some areas might experience hail, thunderstorms, and even lightning, underscoring the volatile weather during this transitional period. As residents grapple with these extreme conditions, it serves as a stark reminder of the region's weather variability and the pressing need for preparedness in the face of nature's extremes.
