Hi everyone,

I already have the DTV visa and I’m currently in Laos. I’d like to use an agent for a safe entry into Thailand. Do I need to fly into Bangkok for this, or is it possible to do it via a land border?

In the past, I paid around 6,000 THB for a safe entry via Bangkok airport when coming from Cambodia (for a 60-day tourist visa), and it went smoothly. I’d prefer to pay and avoid the stress if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You have a multi entry visa.

There is zero reason for agent safe services.

really? because I read in Facebook many people pulled a side and got interrogated, but worst case scenario I guess the will send me back to Laos, so I might give it a try.

thanks mate.

You are referring to those folk with history or visa exempt entries to Thailand.

They do not have visas.

You stated that you have a DTV.

That is a multi entry visa.

You will have zero concerns.

Note: in your OP you stated...... "(for a 60-day tourist visa)"

Understand that it's not a 60 day tourist visa..

Rather it's a 60 day visa exempt entry.

Very different things

This is throwing your money away. Better off donating it.

You have a good visa already. Just carry your documentation with you incase it is requested which is unlikely.

I read a few reports of questions - but no reports of locking DTV people up in immigration-jail at the airport, and making them fly back.

I would have copies of all your paperwork used to apply for the DTV, plus proof of payment for the Visa.  I recall one case of some Russian people being questioned at the airport entering on DTVs, and showing their payment-receipt for the visa ended the discussion - but that was when this visa was new.

I would keep an eye out here for reports of problems entering on DTV.  I would not be surprised if "safe entry" was pushed, at some point for DTV entries - but, hopefully not.
