When these sort of holidays come around, it has had an effect on my SSA payment to my Thai bank account. At first, I would get payments on the same day that SSA paid out my check. Then, for quite some time, I was put at the back of the line. And, as with the instance described, I would receive my check the next day or, in case of holidays, some time four days after the SSA payout. Right now, I'm back to getting same day checks. Received mine in my Bangkok Bank account this month on 2 May in the morning. 

My anecdote...

My SS application approved in 2 weeks (under Biden)

SS deposited $0 in my bank account a month prior to benefit date to verify my bank account works (under Trump)

 

2nd Wednesday of month, SS money in my account (under Trump)

 

Conclusion: Musk & DOGE mooks haven't broke it yet 👍

FYI, the annual form 7162  (are you still alive) usually arrives mid-June so keep an eye out for that.

June 3 is the Queen's Birthday.  So even if they pay you on the 3rd the banks are closed and the wire won't go through until June 4.  FYI.

i think you need to make a call to SS and ask where your money is at? Because the Thai bank should have received it within a few days from the 3rd and posted it into your account within 2 working days after getting it.

They're supposed to come on the Friday if your date falls on the weekend. This time I received one but the second came the next week
