Behind the Veil: As China’s Economy Falters, Key Data Vanishes from Public View

De-risking is underway.

The World is de-risking from USA.

Since April 10/11, 2025,   USD is falling rapidly,  against AUD,  TWD,  HKD ( pegged ) etc.

Of course USD had been falling against EUR for a while.

Even  Thailand THB is rising unexpectedly in THB Vs USD.

They could just be trying to make it more difficult for the US gain any information they might be able to use against them.

They more lkely don't want Chinese people to know about it.

Agreed. If the Chinese know about it they will begin making waves and Xi will start losing his power of control. I think the world knowing this data is really just an extension of Xi's attempt to stop his own people from seeing it. The signs are there that people are getting frustrated with how their leader misinforms them and does nothing to help the common people for several years now.

Stories get leaked out to the world as well but those inside China are veiled with what knowledge is shown to them.

China has already been faltering in their economy, a few years ago there were stories leaked out about graduates unable to find work, then stories about housing and land problems. Now tariffs add to their problems with factories already closing temporarily.
