Nor are a lot of the immigrants that arrive legally suitable or even qualified for the jobs they do. Loads of fake qualifications about.

Funny how we need net-zero to be self-sufficient in our energy needs, but we need millions of immigrants from third-world sh*tholes to meet our manpower requirements. Just as more and more jobs are being taken over by AI and robotics.

Funny that, eh?

Not really. They mainly work in Healthcare and Social Care. AI can't do those jobs. Uk nationals don't seem to want to. Hence, reliance on immigrants.

Wont make much difference, the majority are entering the country without any visa and still they are allowed to stay.

Not accurate. About 1 million are here on visas. A fraction of that amount arrive without visas.

100,000 asylum seekers, if that was the true number, would indeed not make much of an impact.

The Home Office supports destitute people seeking asylum while it makes a decision on their asylum claim. In 2023-24, the Home Office spent £4.7 billion on asylum support, including £3 billion on hotels. This is compared with £3.6 billion on asylum support and £2.2 billion on hotels in 2022-23

Since Labour took over, another 40,000 have arrived

That is fine but how many are not on a legal visa? A hell of a lot. Probably more than 1 million. There always seems to be a misconception in that all people from other countries are illegal, they are not. The ones with a proper visa are welcome but the huge amount of illegals are not welcome and should be removed from the country.

I agree that many Brits don't want to work. Why would they want a job when they can get good money for doing nothing and also do a few jobs cash in hand. The befit system needs a total overhaul. There is something like 3 million claiming unemployment benefit in the UK, maybe more I don't have the figures in front of me. Out of the 3 million there are genuine cases of people who cannot work and should be given help. On the other side of the coin there are many who play the system and these should be stopped.. Offer them a job and like in the past, if they refuse 3 offers then their benefit is removed. There is probably something like 2.5 million playing the system with no intention of ever working.

On both counts your figures are hugely exaggerated.

What is an "illegal visa"?

There is no such thing as an illegal visa, The illegals are ditching any documentation they have so they can say they are from a country at war. They are economic migrants and need to be removed from the country ASAP

You suggested over a million are not on a "legal visa". Why not just say "visa"?

Anyway, your figures are way off. It's actually a million on visas. Those that arrive without visas are a fraction of that amount.
