Well it looks like former MMA champion Jake Shields is in Thailand and went to a bar and found the girls listening to Kenye West's new song "Heil Hilter" and throwing salutes.

I thought they already got in hot water before for wearing Nazi images so it will be interesting to see if this makes the media cycle. 😂

Even if they look rough and old, it's almost cute when they get into that Heil Hitler spirit.

Great video.

Did you see this one before. Classic. She had to know enough to replicate it that well. How could you get a proper Hitler outfit and not know anything about who he was?

seems to me like they just don't care. It's just European history and outside their sphere of interest.

They really don't care.

Which is pretty cute.

All she had to know was where to get the uniform that she, undoubtedly, did not make herself, thus requiring no historical knowledge.

in this story "Thai girl band BNK48 sorry for Nazi T-shirt controversy" they were effectively shamed and browbeaten by Israel in to making a public apology for they offense THEY took themselves.

B0llocks, they were not "browbeaten by Israel" and there is no indication that the band "took offence themselves".

No, "getting into hot water" indicates something more serious and consequential than a bit of online critique.

Fair enough. That's just what we say in America where I'm from. Getting condemned by the ambassador from Israel would apply here if my opinion but the not in the UK I guess. 🤷

Here's the quote. Israel found this out and went out of their way to target them. That's called getting browbeaten by a foreign government.

After seeing photos of the rehearsal, Israel's deputy ambassador to Thailand Smadar Shapira, said: "Presenting Nazi symbols by the band's singer hurt the feelings of millions around the world, whose relatives were murdered by the Nazis."

Yes, that is the quote which is just the opinion of the Israeli ambassador, not a "browbeating by Israel".   Where was the suggestion that the ambassador "went out of his way to target the band"?
