If he didn't haven't his neck knelt on for nine and a half minutes whilst already handcuffed and subdued, if Chauvin didn't prevent medical assistance from being rendered, if he had just collapsed and died whilst sat in the back of a police car I might agree.

And no opinion means "no opinion", I assume that's his mum in which case I would say it is nasty and insensitive and you're implying she is uneducated. It is definitely unpleasant and I would have a very low opinion of anyone who thought it was funny.
