Neither JR or JD are electable candidates. Getting 70+ million people to vote for either of those numpsters is an impossibility. They both are as sharp as the edges on a balloon and have the same sex appeal as tits on a bull. In addition, the country will have had enough of Maganomics in 4 years and it will be back to the democrats to hold office in 2028. Same as what happened after Trump 1.0 in 2020. You'll have someone like Gavin Newsom or Jamie Dimon next as president. Put someone like them up against anyone in Magaworld and they will beat any of them, eyes closed, and one hand behind the back. First off, the idea of DJr was voiced a few times during the 2020 campaign, so it's not really a novel idea.  He has to be careful because his dad still has hopes of arranging a forever presidency for himself.

It looks like a new trend: presidential candidates with official sponsors, like Gran Prix racers or race horse owners.  JD has Thiel, DJr has this guy, dad has EM (anyone else notice the pump & dump in active play in the US market?).   Sock puppet politics.  It's the current evolution of Citizens United.  Calling it the WH is now more appropriate, with "W" now standing for that term for a person who sells personal physical favors.

Gavin Newson could well win given all the morons in the US, but he intellectually, he would not make a pimple on JD's butt.

Recall the 2018 midterms when a lot of the DT-alikes did poorly.  The MAGA congregation loves their orange messiah, and isn't looking for a replacement.  But still the comers think that projecting a mean and misanthropic demeanor will propel them to being the next DT -- e.g. Noem who figured telling about killing her dog in detail, emphasizing that the dog was smiling as she was aiming at it, as if that meant the dumb animal deserved it.  And don't forget the guy from Florida in the Wellies and the rest of them.

And then there is the nepo baby factor.  Elvis Presley's daughter launched a singing career in the 1980s, she was expecting the reaction to be "oh wow!  Elvis's daughter!!" but instead got "oh, and what do you have to say?"

 

Something I think even the Dems have figured out at this point is that if there is a presidential election in 2028 the only way they can win is with a white male candidate.

This may be one of those situations where a dog is judged by its owner.  It's new competition ground for the billionaires, it used to be space travel.  The Arabs have historically raced horses, and we know who their horse is the US politics race.

DT's madness is our saving grace (at the moment) -- if Flynn was in charge the US would be in martial law by now.  JD will do as he is told by his benefactor.
