In a developing story out of Bangkok, Pol Lt Jakrapan "Captain Pom" Yuyuen, a deputy inspector with the Bang Bon police station's investigation unit, has been transferred from his post. The move comes amidst an ongoing probe into accusations that he, along with others, assaulted 56-year-old singer Suchart Makmanee at a local restaurant earlier this month.

Pol Maj Gen Khomsit Rangsai, head of Division 9, initiated early morning action on Wednesday, signing an order for a fact-finding panel to examine the alleged incident that took place on May 3rd at a restaurant on Bang Bon 3 Road. The event has piqued public interest, drawing significant media attention both online and on television.

Suchart Makmanee, the victim, is reportedly suffering from severe injuries, including a brain haemorrhage and a fractured eye socket. The allegations suggest that Pol Lt Jakrapan was among those responsible for the assault, a claim being actively investigated by Bang Bon police.

The appointed committee has strict directives: it must conduct its inquiry under procedural guidelines and submit findings swiftly. Any further disciplinary infractions uncovered or additional officers implicated will need to be reported within seven days. Moreover, the panel is responsible for overseeing the ongoing criminal investigation, ensuring it adheres to legal standards and progresses efficiently.

To maintain transparency, a comprehensive summary alongside legal opinions must be provided to the public prosecutor shortly after the investigation wraps up, within three days. The transfer of "Captain Pom" during this phase underscores the seriousness with which Bangkok authorities are treating this incident, aiming to ensure justice while preserving public trust in the police force. As the investigation unfolds, all eyes remain on the outcomes of these inquiries.

The more titles they have the more important they feel... and in Thailand the RTP is used to do severe violence as we have read and seen many times already, and that is just the top of the iceberg...But what can you expect in fact as everybody beats everybody fathers and mothers, stepfathers and mothers their kids, teachers in school, uncles, aunts, grandparents older brothers and sisters... they all brought up with violence, and no education for just a talk ... and if you think you are high ranked you even do more, and he will be less charged than his friends as they are lower ranked
