Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking Issues

Tried logging into my Bangkok Bank mobile banking app on my iPhone this morning. Says Update new version. I clicked on the link and was taken to the App Store but the app does not download. I tried again by going directly to the App Store and searching for the app and it doesn’t download. 

 

I phoned Bangkok Bank Call Centre. They didn’t say there was a problem until I asked if this is affecting anyone else. At that point they said their technical team advised Apple users need to log out of their Apple ID and log back in again to be able to download the latest version of the app. 

 

Has anybody successfully done this and did it enable the app to be downloaded? I am concerned what the implications are of logging out of my Apple ID. Never had to do this to download any app before.

UPDATE:  Simply turning my iPhone off and on again has solved the problem!  If anyone else has a similar issue trying to download the latest version of the app this might be the solution.
