Is "Putinization" a more accurate way to describe what Trump is doing to America?

With Trump, there are so many plot twists. Good luck trying to keep up with what he's doing or why he's doing it.

He's 15 moves ahead of you.

If it were just Krasnov I wouldn’t worry. He’s failed at everything he’s done. BUT… I am worried about what those who are controlling him will do next.

At least Putin can manage the budget.

This is the LAST of their concerns.  It's like me saying I have no debt (which is true), so then...... so then nothing.

In 2024, the US had a GDP of $29.7 trillion, while Russia's GDP was approximately $2.196 trillion

Absolutely no comparison.  Look at all financial metrics and it will tell you that debt/GDP is not a concern right now.  It might be, but not right now.   Every decade people say this will DESTROY America.....hahahahahhahahahhahahahahah....10000000% wrong

Yeah.

I consider him a traitor.

But really these are different topics.

Trump's perverted alliance with Putin vs. Trump's attempt to be the American equivalent of Putin in his own regime.

IMO there is a big difference. i.e. Putin is attempting to re-create the Russian Empire, whereas USA does not have an Empire to re-establish. However, Trump is endeavouring to destroy the Rule of Law both domestically and globally. In addition to crushing criticisms of his Administration, attacking the judiciary, oversight and so on which Putin has already achieved. I would say Trump appears to be more focussed on generating the Cult of Personality than Putin.

Don't be absurd.

Are you that dense that this old news fools you!?!

It's just a game he occasionally plays for political cover because he knows the majority of Americans support Ukraine.

If Trump was really ever to stop being Putin's poodle he would

Ally with Europe to put on bone crashing sanctions on Russia including countries that buy Russian oil

Commit to arming Ukraine to the point they could win when combined with Russia falling apart economically.

Officially acknowledge that Putin doesn’t want peace or even a ceasefire. He only wants total surrender and/or total victory to erase Ukrainisn sovereignty.

Small self  correction.

That Trump clip posted was recent

That doesn't change my message one bit though.

Trump is still Putin's poodle unless and until.he actually DOES stuff to alter that narrative.

To wit.

As said in my OP people have used many different words to describe Trump's particular flavor of American democracy destroying authoritarian ambitions.

Here is an example of a word that can aptly be used to describe both Putin and Trump.

KLEPTOCRATS.

But both of them being kleptocrats are not JUST kleptocrats.

That's the beauty part of using Putinization.

It's not just one bad thing. It's a number of them that they BOTH share.

Yes Donald is irrationally in love with Vlad.

It isn't mutual. Putin is evil but he's not an idiot.

He knows Trump is a weak clown.

But again that really isn't the main topic here.

The main topic here is how Trump is trying to do to the USA what Putin did to Russia.

He’s not trying to, he’s doing it. He’s planning to stay in office until he’s dead, and his pathetic POC son takes over.

There’s a reason Hegseth and Vance are where they are.

Yes he is doing it. I agree with that.

Action is what’s needed.

Tell that to the corrupt spineless republicans in congress who are the ones who actualy have the power to stop him now.

Putin might not be an idiot, but he is an ignorant man.

I think he lives in a yes man bubble.

Turns out it wasn't so smart to invade Ukraine in 2022.

It was supposed to take a few days. Now years later. That is NOT winning.

Anyway he's definitely much more intelligent than Trump, his poodle.

What makes you so sure Putin isn't a "weak clown?"

Is that a scientific term that can be proven?

What constitutes a clown? Someone who juggles?

How the heck do you know who is controlling who?

It's just speculation and most likely a nonsensical theory.

He’s clearly smarter than trump.

Yeah, you ran detailed scientific IQ tests on both of them.

You're not just pulling it out of your butt.

Maybe you are the one who is irrational.

There are many good reasons for world leaders to be on good terms with each other instead of being enemies.

You're not posting in good faith.

You're just throwing half baked pest jabber at  the wall because criticism of Trump obviously personally offends you.

Dude, there isn't one sentient person on the planet who thinks Trump controls Putin.

That was  the last straw for me.

You are free of course to continue with your silly pest noise but you won't be hearing from me about it.

Happy trails amigo.
