I've been having Problems with The DWP For YEARS They Froze My Pension whilst I was Living in The U.K ( I Didn't think they could do that ) & They are Under Paying me but they just ask me for " Further Information " as they say they CANNOT Identify me on their System....I've Sent them ALL The information about myself,But all they do is send me the SAME email Saying ( We Can't Identify YOU on Our System ) Which They have sent approx 15 Times in the past 2 Months.....I've sent an email to the last MP I Had in The U.K. But He said " Because I am NOT one of his constituents He Cannot Help Me or is UNWILLING To " I've tried The Ombudsman but He WON'T Deal with anything concerning the DWP !! So Any Suggestions on who I Should Contact Please??

I Did have a Telephone Conversation about 2 Months ago with a rather " Funny / Sarcastic " Guy at their Newcastle office with a Guy named " Tony " Who said at the moment HE Was looking at My File & Said Oh Yeah I Can see that You are Married I'm looking at the Marriage Certificate & " Other" Correspondence that you've sent, So it's a LOAD Of BS, They DO KNOW My Identity,He then said He Would send it back to The Claims Section ( Who had earlier REJECTED It ) & I SHOULD Hear from them in about 4 / 6 Weeks,All they've done is send me a STUPID Questionaire asking me for Details of what I did ..1, BEFORE I Left The U.K. On 1st January 2009 & Went to Canada & The USA ?? How Long Did I Stay There?? ( I've NEVER Been to Either Country !! & 2, Between When I Lived & Worked in The U.K. From when I Returned WHERE Did I Live & What Work did I Do Until the PRESENT time. ( Remember I Was living in the U.K ) What The Hell this had to do with Them " F*** Knows !!!" 3, He Also asked me What was my Middle Name ?? I DON'T Have one !! I Think They have me confused with somebody with the same name as myself which is a very Common Name.......When I Informed him of that He got a bit " Flustered " & Said I'll End the call as I'm very Busy at the moment...But Then came his SARCASTIC Comment to myself,He Said " Can I Suggest an Idea to You ? IF YOU WANT YOUR FULL ENTITLED PENSION, Why " DON'T YOU JUST "UP STICKS" & GO LIVE IN The Philippines & YOU'LL Even get ANY INCREASES WHILE YOU ARE THERE " I Thought this a Very WEIRD Statement to make,He Then Put the phone down ending the call !!!!!

True, 5 baht/min max, can be 1 baht/min with the right SIM.

I Know, It's Only 3 Baht a Minute on AIS with their Code you dial, But it doesn't work for me.....

Incorrect. it's 5 baht per minute and you still haven't followed up with AIS on 1175 to find out why 003 44 191 218 7777 doesn't work for you, as it works for others.

Perhaps do that before starting yet another thread on the same subject and then come back with what they say with regard to 003....or just subscribe to the 159 baht package which will give you 40 minutes of calls to the U.K. https://www.ais.th/en/consumers/package/international/international-call/003

You called them months ago. Call them again on the number given to you. It cannot be that everyone else is wrong.

Just call them. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/pdp-i544504578-s14610174233.html

Check with the vendor beforehand, that anyone can register a Myanmar SIM, rather than just someone with a Myanmar passport. If they think it's okay, then order it, top up with say 100 baht and then dial 00600 44 191 218 7777. 1 baht per minute.

Thanks M8,I'll use my AIS Number AGAIN, When I Put some more Credit on it !!

Hopefully you will be able to sort things out quickly by phone.

If not, I would write to Liz Kendall in her capacity as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions detailing what you have stated in this thread.

Depending on when you left the UK you may still be eligible to vote. You will need to re-register as a voter. Once that is done, your MP would have no choice but to (at least) consider your grievance. I know that MPs are busy people but imo your ex-MP's reaction was appalling.

Good luck

Sadly this is all too typical of most MPs' attitude towards expat voters registered in their constituencies, I think.
