Swimming pool tile colour ideas

Starting to build a new pool and looking at using a light blue pool tile 
Has anyone wished they used darker blue tiles 
I am not wanting green tiles

Any pictures with the colour of tiles used would be great

Nooo! You are doing the right thing! Light blue is the best.

 

Those dark tiles make the pool ominous and depressing.

I did see a white tiled pool that looked good and was a very light blue

Have a talk to Kera tiles mob. Nice selection of tiles etc.

Save yourself a lot of futer hassles. Consider PebbleCrete. Hardest surface on the market and gets better with age.

Thanks i have looked at these before but not in my budget although they do look excellent and if i had the funds that might be what i would have gone for

How about natural lava stone tile? Underwater effect is exceptional. Many shades.

   We have light blue and it looks great--both daytime and at night with the pool lights on.  I've seen dark blue but don't like the way it looks.

Personally I don't think any colour looks better than light blue.

a beige liner makes the water look green ...multicolored is usaully the way , blue ,white ,silver and iridescent

darker coloured tiles/pool lining will also make the pool water hotter - making the pool a less pleasant place to be!

Whatever you do dont use green ceramic tiles or red, pale blue is always good and if it's within your budget fibre optic lights, looks superb at night changing colours against the pale blue tiles, 

I have seen many different designs, believe it or not Sandwash looks good, they use the fine grade and mix a blue paint in the mix, when it all dries out it the colour looks uneven but under water it give a good effect, 

I think cost wise, sandwash is cheap to do, it's a long time since I've been involved I've lost touch on the prices,

I saw a pool with black tiles and the water looked dirty... I agree - light blue is best...

I think the aqua color or light blue tiles look great. But keep it light which ever one you choose.

Stay away from sandwash in the pool. It turns to 💩 in no tie and has the small pebbles get sucked up by the pump it is also damaged.

That's pretty well a middle of the range blue, light either to keep clean but dark enough to give it that cool alluring look on a hot day ♥️ quite common colour in resort pools for a reason
