Finally I get the chance to post in Hummins travel thread. IMHO one of the better threads here on this forum. A bit of a story and some photos I hope you like. 47 years ago I arrived at Chaweng Beach

Agree, and same up at PKK, as only a week of real rain, even that sporadic, but very heavy at times, and was surprised how green everything was, in such a short span.

Half way home

The usual overnight torrential rains have stopped, and start of another lovely day ...

With that ... out the door for a stroll. Dim sum only 750m away.

What Camera and lense are you using?

Sony @6400 & SEL200600G (larger one), for wildlife.

Sony @6400 & SEL18105G (smaller), for anything the phone can't handle. Coffee above was taken with phone.

From the back veranda, looking East, toward the surf, from a height, but not high enough (too windy) to see much of the bay. Along with the hills, Westward.

I never get tired of this view when there is blue sky, cumulus clouds, green everywhere, and mountains or hills as we would say in Norway in the near distance. I start missing this place after only a few days of travelling now, and we still have so much to do.

The last two months, we got more grass, more flowers, more fruit trees, made new stairs up to second floor, romoved two big tanks from the corners of the house, moved the 30k btu aircon to kitchen, got a new 24K aircon with inverter in my glassroom, built another bungalow room, made a car park with roof for coming EV and charger, added a cardio room to the gym, and started cleaning out the workshop after hardly being here for almost three years. Also got some new tools.
