Finally, some sunshine, as been lite rain on & off all week, since returning from our little southern loop. Been taken for my walk around the house, the past week. Finally getting some surfside time in.

I was just down there a few weeks ago for a wedding, stayed at the "Kuiburi Hotel and Resort".

I can see why you like the area.

It was closest to the wedding, it was a nice find, and pretty cheap. Rooms were dated and a bit spartan, but clean, and the beds were nice.

Have you eaten at the hotel restaurant? Great food, Great atmosphere, reasonably priced, and right on the beach.

No, but will add to my 'to do' list, as always looking for new 'local' places, especially if pleasent setting. THANKS

Local is anything within an hour, includes Ban Krut, Sam Roi Yot. Doesn't take much to get my out of the house 🤣

Is it true that the property is older and located deep off the main highway? I wanna book there for my 4 days off in November.

I don't know how old it is. As I said, it is dated and a bit spartan, but it is clean and the beds were nice.

It's not fabulous, but it was nicer than expected for the money. The beach and pool were very nice.

If you go, have own transport, as stated earlier, Pandon Leaves Home Cafe, 2km south of, decent wagyu burger & pandan pancakes.

Want the a tasty, cheapest Kha Moo in TH, then Ton Mayom restaurant (that's a stretch), and all of 20 baht, usually sell out before closing time. Located, < 1 km just off hwy 4, in town, before heading to hotel, if arriving from the North.

Prachuap municipality has huge night market, surfside on most weekends, about half hour away form hotel.

Hey, there was a big music festival being set up on the one of the beached we surveyed after Hua Hin but before Kuiburi, did you make that?

Nah, not much of a music festival fan any more. Do miss the HH Jazz Festival of days pass, but they really screwed that up. Think I attended almost all of the first 8 festivals. Well organize, good bands and all free.

Been a great summer and the fall doesnt look bad either. 3 more weeks to go.

Backside of guesthouse, as due west. Earlier was due east, as guesthouse sits in between, so limestone walls in their own shadow, depending what side of noon.

Two weeks became three months, and then six months. We’re heading back for New Year, so in the meantime, there will be more of this.

Finally, looks like a full day of sunshine. Sept has lived up to it's 'wettest' month rep, almost countrywide. Here at home and while O&A this past month: Chumphon, Surat Thani, NST, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Phetchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Nakhon Pathom, up to Kamphaeng Phet, back down via pitstops in Phitsanulok, Sing Buri, Krung Thep to home. Busy busy busy.

Toys not happy with rain & overcast. Though suprisingly, never really rained in, so a plus. Still enjoyable outings, getting more than a few snaps in between the raindrops. Did cut the Northern loop short because of rain.

No place like Home, till O&A about 🙄
