No, you need help, but are too dense to understand just why. Defending my position isn't arrogance. Again, if things here are too complex for you to understand, better you stay out of most discussions. It's you and those other 5 or 6 that are always acting the same way here. And amusing to us that you always stick up for each other. Birds of a feather.

I get along with most everyone here. Yes, we butt heads and argue, but in a constructive manner, as they know more than I in some things and vice-versa. That you know very little shows and that you feel the need to argue about things you obviously know nothing about, also shows why you're here. Better you look at he definition of humble before you point it another way.

You're not smart at all. Arrogant and full of yourself. I would say you're actually very dumb. Only a fool would move to Isaan without research. Smart people research things before moving. You must be reading the wrong books or just not capable of thinking.

Let's take a look....

If you bothered to read all of a post instead of nit-picking or skimming, Assumption

I've always explained my situation with all honesty and what happened, but some will refuse to believe the truth because they are the ones who assume. It's not the truth, it's a perspective. An OPINION.

Again, if you read all of a topic instead of coming in at the end or near the end, you would possibly understand why everything is said. Assumption

It's only 'nit-picking' and 'skimming' when someone other than he is doing it.

Blind to his own faults. Prefers to attack the messenger.

To conclude, if one is surrounded by their peers, they will quickly understand what behaviour is acceptable to other humans. One can only assume that this person has no real friends in close proximity. All that deep reading and research leaves little time for interactions with their peers, other than on AseanNow where they don't get on with anyone at all. Just an observation.

Yes, let's take a look.  If you bothered to read all of a post, you wouldn't comment like you did.

When someone explains something with honesty, it isn't an opinion. It's what happened.

Defending a position isn't attacking, so again you're wrong. Blind to your own reasoning.........

Another assumption, but you won't see it that way. If you only knew just how many friends I have you would be embarrassed making that statement. Funny thing is, in all my life, the only ones I really don't get along with have been proven to have a mental illness, with narcissism being a main one.

If we could see who is actually giving me, and others , those thumbs down, I'm thinking the vast majority will be from those select 5-8 here who are constantly at odds against almost everyone. Proving people wrong has them get very pissed off, so they troll you and can't help themselves and have to post those negative emojis, thinking it might get them favor from others, when others already see the truth that I speak, along with the truth others do, who also get those negative emojis.

If you stand within an anechoic chamber, you would not be able to do so for long without going mad.

People are telling @fredwiggy what they perceive from his posts, but he refuses to believe them. Instead he prefers what he sees in his own reflection.

I'll leave this discussion as it's best he takes time to absorb what is being written, rather than his trying to deflect everything.

Other than to state that I am very happy and grateful for life in Thailand. Nothing is perfect, but it's up to me to make the best of it.

Facts can be flawed due to various reasons, including decontextualization and cherry-picking. Decontextualizing a fact means presenting it without necessary context, leading to potential misunderstandings of its significance. For example, a study's findings might seem important and impressive without knowing the methods used or the limitations of the observations.3

Cherry-picking involves focusing on certain facts while ignoring others, creating a skewed perception of the whole picture. This can happen when several related facts are presented alone, giving a partial view of the subject.3

Additionally, fact-checking itself can be flawed. Different frames or questions posed during fact-checking can lead to different conclusions. For instance, in a fact-check involving Dan Crenshaw's statement about asylum seekers, PolitiFact rated it as false based on one definition of "valid," while Crenshaw used a different definition based on the outcomes of immigration court decisions.2

Furthermore, people's biases can influence how they perceive facts. Research shows that when confronted with facts they disagree with, individuals often do not change their perceptions and may even become more entrenched in their beliefs.4

Lastly, the term "fact" can be ambiguous. Something initially considered a fact can be proven incorrect in the future, as seen in historical shifts in scientific understanding, such as the explanation of gravity.

Where am I claiming how smart I am? That I know a lot about certain subjects puts me in the same category of many others who also do. With every reply it shows not only how you lack knowledge on certain things, rarely making more and a one liner, but how childish you are, and it makes me wonder just how old you are, because a normal adult doesn't act this way. I'm just like many others here who have knowledge on things, and they speak the same way I do, and some really trash others, calling them out on their drivel.

I've read 100 studies on climate. Same with diet and exercise but I don't pretend to be an expert. You do. You're not smart enough to realise how ridiculous and arrogant you sound.

What you're missing , is that's is always the same ones who are calling me out. You don't know the history unless you read it. Take awhile and go over all of my recent posts. You'll see who the detractors are and what their replies are. if you look back further, you'll see an argument I had with them where I proved them wrong on something, and then you'll see the followups. Then you'll understand more. If you look at their history of replies, you'll also see it's the same ones who argue with many others here, and if you trace their history, you'll see the same things happening.

Again you're assuming how much anyone alive, let alone me, knows and what they've read. I do know one thing. From all of your postings here, most being one liners because of an obvious lack of knowledge and a penchant to just troll, I'm a hell of a lot smarter than you'll ever be.

I haven't ever given a negative emoji to ANYONE, so that doesn't tally with his imagined perception.

He just cannot accept anyone's opinion other than his own highly inflated one of himself. With each and every post there is a nasty dig at someone. This is someone who professes to understand, that if you want to experience love, you have to be love. So how does that explain his actual behaviour of underhand digs and argumentative behaviour? That's what he gets, but doesn't seem to understand why no one seems to like him.

Smart people don't use 500 words to say very little. Most of your long posts are just showboating about reading books. 6 years, 1 day won. Most disagree with you.

No, I'm not arrogant when I'm defending myself against teenaged hostility. You have a rel problem anyone can see, but the problem there, is that's there's no fix. Again, as in most replies, you're assuming how smart I am, which shows you're not too bright yourself.

He reminds me of this guy on Thorntree 20 years ago. Long posts full of fluff and telling people how much he knows.

Yet I rarely see anyone disagreeing with me on most things, and i get positive comments and emojis all the time. It's you and those alter egos and other fools that I suffer the most. Other people here actually brag about superior genes, finances, escapades with women, and high IQ's. Go after them and leave me alone. You also have adult ODD.

And you still don't realize what I said. Go back and look at the history before you comment on what I say. Opinions mean nothing. facts do. You're actually taking the side of one of the most prominent trollers here. Are you possible another of the ones who change usernames like underwear? You only joined, at least with this username, in February. I'm thinking you're one of the other ones I've proven wrong before and change usernames to start another of the same arguments with me.
