Nakhon Pathom has witnessed a significant reshuffle in its police force after an undercover raid unveiled an illegal nightclub operating right under the nose of local authorities. The venue, Rad Zone Chill Kamphaeng Saen, was discovered on 1st June to be functioning without a valid service establishment permit. A startling revelation uncovered during the operation also brought to light the presence of illegal drugs and patrons who were beneath the age of 20.

Prompted by the intensity of this breach, the chief of Nakhon Pathom Provincial Police acted swiftly to restore order and integrity. Five officers from the Kamphaeng Saen Police Station have been reassigned, a move grounded in the regulations of the National Police Act 2565 and the National Police Office protocols. This decisive action ensures that a transparent and thorough investigation is conducted without any internal hindrances.

The officers affected include high-ranking figures such as Police Colonel Pramote Phophan and Police Lieutenant Colonels Yotpong Panthu and Yothi Benjawan. These individuals have been temporarily moved to the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Police Operations Centre, where they will carry out tasks assigned by the deputy commander of administration. Their reassignment signals a broader commitment to due diligence and is part of efforts to prevent any conflicts of interest during the forthcoming investigations.

To fill the vacated positions and keep the police department running smoothly, several officers have stepped into acting roles. Police Colonel Watcharapath Kulrattakitivong and colleagues such as Police Captain Methasit Phuinongpho are among those newly appointed to critical posts. These changes are intended to minimise disruption in daily operations and ensure that the department remains fully functional throughout the investigative process.

This shift within the police ranks is not merely a procedural formality but part of a larger initiative to demonstrate accountability and integrity within law enforcement in Nakhon Pathom. The reassignment underscores a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct and aims to maintain public trust by showing that officers are held to stringent professional standards. As the investigation unfolds, the public eagerly awaits further developments and hopes for a transparent and just resolution to this concerning situation.
