Valosine 75 mg Chiang Mai

Go into a pharmacy as ask for Valosine 75mg.  If that doesn't ring a bell with the sales staff, ask for Effexor 75mg or generic Venlafaxine 75mg.  You probably want to write them out or take a picture of a box with the label.  Pharmacy sales staff in Thailand can be hit or miss, especially when there is no pharmacist around.

Patchaya pharmacy in jedyod on chang khian rd, this little shop seems to have everything. Or ask the person who suggested/prescribed it to you.

Where can I purchase this in a pharmacy?

Thanks.

You can only get Valosine and all other antidepressants/anxiety meds at hospitals in Thailand, after having consulted with a doctor there. So you have to go to any private hospital in the country and register your profile and ask to see a doctor. The doctor will then prescribe the Valosine 75mg and you get it right there at the hispital dispensing counter.

Pharmacies outside of hospitals unfortunately don't provide these kinds of meds like in other countries.

That is not correct.  I  have bought at pharmacies many times.

Dr Pairat ( Consultant Psychiatrist) at Huay Kaew Clinic, 66/1 Sookkasem Soi 3 ( behind Lanna Hospital), tel. 053-223060. 30 baht per tablet sold there at his Clinic.

You will have to pay a small Consultation fee. Make Dr, speaks good English.

Also available at Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital, but need to have a Consultation with Dr Kaewwai, ( Female Dr, good English). You can walk in and be seen the same day. But will have to pay nurses fees as well as pharmacy ( about 800 baht in total? Maybe slightly more for medicine).

Thank you very much.  Specific information is so helpful.  I will go to both.

30 baht is a very good price if it is 75mg

The person I know who got it for 30 baht is a Thai, so not sure if that makes a difference. But you can call and find out.
