Always walk towards the traffic... In this case the lady 'should' have been walking on the other side of the road where there was more room and she'd be facing on-coming traffic... Thats not to blame her - drivers, even idiot ones should be able to see and avoid whats in front of them.... ... I hope they throw the book at this vermin - mowing down a pedestrian then driving off - ultimate act of verminous scum.... -------- That said: It does often astonish me how often pedestrians will step out into a road without looking, or walk down the side of the road, in the road, without a care to their own safety - I just can't do that... I'm too alert to the risk of some idiot being on their phone etc... -
