President Donald Trump is facing a sharp decline in support from voters, according to new data from a top Republican pollster. According to the latest TIPP Insights/League of American Workers poll, conducted between June 9-11 among 1,584 registered voters, Trump's approval rating currently stands at 43 percent, with 50 percent disapproving, giving him a net rating of -7 points.

 

That is down from a net approval of -2 points in May, when 43 percent said they approved of Trump's job performance and 45 percent disapproved. The polls had a margin of error of between +/- 2.5 and 2.7 points.

 

What To Know

The result comes as other polls have shown a downward trend in Trump's approval rating, following a short-lived recovery that came in the wake of his "Liberation Day" tariffs. According to Newsweek's latest tracker, Trump's approval now stands at 46 percent, with 51 percent disapproving—down from 48 percent pro and 50 percent against just one week earlier.

It seems you are confusing "bring prices down" with lower inflation rate. Groceries prices did not decrease, contrary to Trump's promise. It's just that they increase a bit less than before. 🙂

 

Actually, food inflation is at 2.9%. The only reason for the bit lower inflation rate is the decrease of gas price, which is not caused by the U.S. The main reason is the increase of production decided last year by SA and OPEC, in order to regain market shares. The other is the decreasing demand related to lower GDP growth rates globally.

I forgot eggs! Prices decreased compared to the peak caused by bird flu, but it's at around the same level as when Trump and Vance campaigned about it. So it's also a failed promise.
