Yes it's my generalization, I don't know anybody who has died from covid, my uneducated opinion is that covid is a bad case of flu, if you are healthy to begin with you have little to fear from it.

I know 3 that died of COVID.  One was a my roommate in Vegas while he was on the MIT blackjack team.  He moved away to a 'real' career.  When I sought to reconnect I heard the disheartening news that his stubborn insistence on individual freedom prevented him from getting vaccinated.  He was very smart, young and fit but also a gun nut.  The other two were older, less healthy and lived a sedentary life style.

I know how science works and I know how funding science works. As for suspect for me anything coming from "science/scientists" that directly recieve funding or their institutions recieve funding from big pharma is suspect. This was not a view I had or even thought about before the "made in Wuhan virus" spread globally.
