I'll be guessing the hot line would be manned by trans extremists encouraging them by telling them it was normal to want a sex change rather than telling them it was normal to self doubt, and they'd grow out of it.

Removing a child's penis or breasts for cosmetic, aesthetic or purely psychological reasons is a mutilation of their bodies.

Yes you do. There are plenty of old ladyboys in Thailand. They don't just suddenly revert to being a bloke.

 

Maybe you have to actually live in Thailand or possibly widen your horizons before this becomes obvious.

Much ado about nothing. The Komodo analysis of insurance claims found 56 genital surgeries among patients ages 13 to 17 with a prior gender dysphoria diagnosis from 2019 to 2021.  Hardly, a crisis.

 

The  people celebrating  probably don't understand what happened: The state now has the authority to decide what health care a minor can receive. The government will decide. Libertarians must be having conniptions.

 

The ruling will not block the surgery, as a minor can still travel out of state to have the  surgery.

So, if when you were a little boy. You played with your sisters dolls and wore your mamas dress and high heels. And told your parents you wanted to be a girl. Then it would have been ok to cut off your pecker and start you on hormonal therapy so you can grow boobs and stop you from having the hairy arms and then cut your adam's apple and vocal cords to make your voice a higher pitch. You would have been ok doing it knowing you are supposedly a man even now and I assume still wanting to be a man. 

What happens to thee kids who are curious but unable to express themselves and do not really understand the implications of having these procedures if later they get older and realize they are really still a man inside and forever forced to look like a woman. 

Sex changes should never be done to children. Even the child does not understand the normal changes their bodies make whilst growing up. Even their mental thoughts are not clear enough to be decisive in a topic that will forever change their future.

There is no evidence that circumcision cuts down on infections. If that were REALLY TRUE then adults could choose to have the operation as Adults! Not as new born babies. The infection myth is an American myth designed to promote and propagate male genital mutilation AKA Male circumcision. No country in the civilised world imposes this barbarism on babies. None! The sooner America joins the fold the better. There is no reason to think that circumcision leads to less infections; it's a medical myth promoted by the American Doctors and Surgeons to make money.

I.suggest we leave the operation until boys are 18 years old. Then let them decide.
