I frequently attend Auf Der Au German buffet breakfast in Chiang Mai (250bht).

Lots of sausages and ham, lots of different dark breads, no fried or scrambled eggs or bacon.

I like the fried fish in breadcrumbs as well.

Here's one I ate earlier ........

Laziest thread starter in the world.

No description of what's included in the breakfast, no photo, nothing.

Why don't you put more effort into it?

Why don't you

Bread/rolls, cold cuts, cheese, jam (no orange😄), boiled egg (other styles ok),  coffee and juice.

The quality of bread is essential and hard to find even in Pattaya.

Cheese being expensive so here you get the most basic stuff.

Not on a German breakfast: sliced and roasted white bread although often seen for cost reasons, beans, grilled sausage, hash browns etc.

For convenience I mostly go for English in Pattaya. German not many in central Pattaya.

At home have proper handmade rye bread and rolls. Cold cuts and cheese from delikatessen shopping.

Generally I think English breakfast is easier to do in Thailand except for the sausage that can vary widely in quality.

Nothing beats a proper English breakfast.

Best in the world.

Fried tomato, baked beans. Yuk. It's a carb fiesta

Fine for someone going out to burn that off, but mostly looks like it sits around the mid section of most Brits

Aud der Au's buffet makes for a delicious German breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning!  Good variety and good value for the price.
I don't normally eat wheat products or sugar so I miss out on all the great breads, pastries, and sweets.

Hard to get this in Thailand and not for 129.

yeah but if you're doing cold cuts and cheese for breakfast, why go to a restaurant?

no prep work involved.

I agree. My usual everyday breakfast at home is a package of cold cuts, a block of cheese, and a handful of Kalamata olives.

While Auf der Au does have a nice selection of deli meats, I tend to stick to the cooked dishes; various sausages, braised pork leg, chicken in different presentations, and plenty of different salads!

If I was an expert on German food I would not have asked. So according to you we should research everything ourselves and never start topics :cheesy:

Take a photo of the advertisement next time.

Looks like salami, bread and cheese. The buffet looks better. We will go buffet.

I mostly see the terrible white bread slices served with English breakfast. Otherwise English breakfast is good.

Do you realize that 250 baht is about 5.5 pounds or $7.50 dollars?

Did it come with a drink?

Tacos and burritos are the world's best breakfast foods. English breakfast is filling, but bland beyond compare.

Drinks are extra. 250 baht for buffet meat and veg is cheap.
