   Which poll was that ?

This story is about Pascal Robinson-Foster calling for the death of people and his anti semitic remarks  .

No one was bothered about his STFU comments .

So , which poll did you see ?

I don't remember where I saw it but what does it matter? Some people responded that being told to get over losing their country pissed them off.

When you say no one was bothered, I'm guessing you mean you and whoever makes whatever news source you follow?

Sigh. So we're not allowed to use examples to point out unbelievable hypocrisy of posters now?

Who made you the forum Nazi?

Well,  you guys kept mentioning Tommy Robinsons real name and referred to him as that .

Why don't you now refer to Bob Vylian by his real name ?

Wouldn't want any hypocrisy now, would we

The insult describes a state of mind, not a race. For instance Kanye West would meet the definition of a Gammon.

   Really , would he ?

Give me one instance where Kayne West as been labelled as being a Gammon

I have only referred to him once and I have no idea what his real name is. I'd never heard of the bloke before everyone got their knickers in a twist and used them to beat the BBC for their usual reasons.

Great, thank you for that. I'll be sure to use his full name next time I decide to write something about him........which will be never.

And you be sure to call him Bob Vylans as you use Yaxley-Lennon's non-double barreled made up name. Wouldn't want any hypocrisy now, would we.

Sound like something you would get either over the pharmacy counter or ASDA booze aisle.

"everyone got their knickers in a twist and used them to beat the BBC for their usual reasons."

That would be the present UK Gov getting its knickers in a twist then?

"The UK government has intensified pressure on the BBC following its decision to live stream a Glastonbury performance by punk duo Bob Vylan, during which the artists led a chant of "death, death to the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]." Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy told the House of Commons on Thursday that she is “not satisfied” with the BBC’s response and said she “would expect there to be accountability at the highest levels” within the corporation."

I call both of them by their shorter name, simply because its easier to write as both have less letters

The BBC's  denunciations of antisemitism ring hollow- very hollow- when none of its employees are held accountable for a string of antisemitic comments and content.  There were sometimes "investigations" into particularly egregious incidents, but those investigations seemed to take months and no one is ever fired because of them.

That's what has to change.  BCC employees have to know that severe consequences will follow if they allow antisemitic content to be broadcast.  We can all imagine how many heads would have rolled if the BBC had broadcast a chant of "Death, death to the IRA" or "Death, death to the ANC"  (African National Congress, a South African political party known for its open antisemitism).  Everyone from the Chairman on down to summer interns would have lost their jobs or be forced to resign.

Slurs against Jews aren't treated as seriously as slurs against other races/religions/ethnic groups, which in itself is a hallmark of antisemitism.
