It was just a comment that many people are alcoholics and go unnoticed, and no one is crying about the alcohol usage and shop selling it.

You've never in your life been hammered?  Not even once?   That's pretty unusual, but good for you if that's the case. 

Besides which my comment was specifically aimed at Toby1947 who claimed weed smokers are 'brain dead idiots' although with 1947 in his username I should have just ignored his opinion on weed.  If he was born in 1947 he's part of the brainwashed geriatric generation who think weed is bad.

Personally, when I was a social drinker I was smashed most nights.  I never get violent though, I was always a very happy, social drunk!

Too many busy bodies willing to tell people how to live their lives. I smoked pot year ago. I don't smoke pot now, however, if I want to burn a joint in the privacy of my own home  then that should be my choice.

The big issue is those who smoke away from home, those who drive after consuming cannabis, those who harm themselves, eg stumble onto roads, fall from balconies etc, those who create a nuisance, those so stoned they can't provide for their families, those who have psychotic episodes, and the list goes on.
