A thumbs up always gets inserted before a thumbs down, at least on my computer. That trumps the negativeness of a thumb down.

2 recent posts got multiple thumbs down. I like it better than nothing. Means someone thought about your post and disagreed rather than thought nothing.

Comes down to self discipline and self realization when you get provoked by self explained obvious truths to not push the thumbs down 🙂↔️

Yes. I got a thumbs down on the cocaine thread for a comment about being in transit between planes.

It often looks like the one who always posted the 'confused' emoji migrated to the thumbs down one.

That really does sound like the old 'confused' poster using the thumbs down emoji instead.

Another paranoid poster who thinks people are following him and who gets upset by coloured pixels.

Never ceases to amaze me. Grown adults upset about emojis!

So who was your confused emoji stalker? Are they in the room now?

You got upset by his words.

The confused one was a topic of conversation in several threads because it was so obvious, like Frank83628's comment about transiting planes.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Rudeness does.

Guy on here. Member for years. Gives Thumbs down a lot rarely talks. I see his name a lot. Sad way to communicate with people.

And you have a magic ability to see who gives reactions? Wow.

Coloured pixels. Get over it, it is pathetic.

And the irony that you chose to "communicate" by making random 2-3 word posts ("beef is beef"), posting sideways pictures of half eaten friend rice and bottles of coke just to get your post count up. Don't think I've actually seen you join a real conversation.

The mods see who gives emotions, so they knows who is the stalkers here if they want to check

Everyone should be given 3 of negative emotions to give every day, and I know some forums had it before, a limit of how many emotions you could give pr day

I can see his name with no others. See it a lot. No magic required. He never says anything.

Why have them? They achieve nothing. Its a talking forum. Just discuss the subject. People take it personal. I got abused on the beef subject. Then people claim to know what you have done in life. It's just weird some posts on here.

You have to be kidding. I discuss topics more in depth than anyone with facts to back them up. I posted 4 links on the depression topic for example. All you do is attack people on the right. I have never seen you make any objective analysis.

Emotions is good to have, but the constant negativity you see here, is not healthy for those stalking you. It must be a miserable life being addicted to hand out as many negative emotions they can. It is a mental state leads to spineless actions. Who knows why it is so, but I truly feel sad for people like that. Not healthy

Well, when you get 10 negative responses in one go, it is kind of satisfaction knowing my life is quite okay, and I do not need that «anonymous» action for some reason just to rebell or just feel you doing something like a silent protest against one member, not for what the person writes right there now.

Can’t help tho, feeling sorry for these characters spending time on a constantly negative downward spiral

I see your point if someone just sits around constantly downvoting and that is their life.

Conversely I feel sorry for the posters who are so immature and thin skinned that they get upset about them and constantly make posts whinging about them. Ignore them, move on, get a life.

If you haven’t noticed, it influences the atmosphere at the forum where negativity is feeding from stupidity and small minded men who can’t contribute with anything else than negativity.

Anyway, my guess, this forum will finely die to with most of us here. The forum is doomed, so are we, have a good journey while you can 😉

You are supposed to discuss topics. Handing out thumbs down non stop is pathetic. You do it daily as do many others.

All these emojis are made for those who want to hide their AN identity.

They are cowards to stand to their opinion.

Nobody needs emojis.

Maybe you can remember the time there weren't any? What did you do? Writing. Easy as that

Yes, agreed. However emoji, and in particular the thumbs down seem very often used to indicate a dislike of the individual posting ( based on his previous posts) rather than the actual post being given the emoji.

Having to explain that reaction would be embarrassing: imagine " I gave the thumbs down because this poster is a limp wristed woke Marxist lefty who takes the piss out of..."!
