Imagine two neighboring countries that relies on each other for trade and season workers all year around start hating each other over a small pieace of land with some old ruins. This will end badly for both nations. It shows how stupid humans actually can become.

The guy needs to be arrested and charged with assault.

That assault, send's a very bad message out to Thai people.

Like the Burmese the Cambodians are in Thailand to fill the labour shortage and often doing tasks that Thais feel  are either beneath them or may involve work!!! It also gives them a feeling of superiority looking down on the "Brown People" as they call them.
