I dislike feeling irrelevant as we all do and the elitist nature of government is aggravating.  I see the rich getting richer and policies that aren't addressing this issue.  The bottom half is doing OK compared to 50 years ago but the gap is so large that it is depressing for many and the same applies to  middle class as a whole.  Ignoring that relativite saving/earnings is more important than the amount of savings/earnings you have is silly.

 

I watched from afar my wealthy friends did well during covid and even now.  All the easy money policies have made them rich because they own the inflated assets.  Those with vast amounts of disposable income, put it in real-estate and other investments and  demand side economics have increased assets to levels I thought I would never see.  Great time to have cash! Price to earning ratios in the markets of 25 are normal now. Insane...

It seems there's a knife at some point in our lives........if you can invest in property and build up a portfolio you seem to have a licence to print money.......go the other way, live in rented property, fail to invest wisely.....you slip out of reckoning pretty quickly.

Agreed and I've made my share of bad decisions the last 10 years but am lucky to be able to live a good life with 50% less than I had pre-covid.  Some just don't get that there is a way out of the mess and it starts with saving money which now  is more of choice than ever IMO. When you are on the bottom half the deck is stacked against you but it is what it is. 

 

This $600 check Trump is throwing out there is insulting but it will work for him.  That money will quickly filter to the top and the bottom half will have a new flat screen.

It doesn't seem unreasonable for her to propose some requests. She is facing life on prison.

She must have read the Art of the Deal.

Epstein’s brother was recently interviewed and said that they visited each other's offices dozens of times during their 17-year friendship from 1987 to 2004, when they were very tight close, and best buddies, and while they were taking advantage of young girls together in an organized manner.

Given the whole mix of options and their timelines, right now Ms. Maxwell's best bet may be just to wait to see come October whether the Supreme Court will take her case.
