Crime is increasing in line with punishment decreasing. Criminals are emboldended by this. I just don't get that someone can go into a shop, steal goods under a certain amount of cost and it's fine. Zero consequence for theft. It's insane as as I said it emboldens the thieves to reoffend. This is meant to be progressive. You talk about logic well logic tells me this is regressive not progressive.

You are correct. Doesn't mean it's anything else than grasping at straws though. It was a huge press conference (I watched it live) and certainly noticed this slip up (twice) and what came to mind was "this will trigger the sufferers". Not exactly my thoughts but the censorship algorithm won't allow what actually sprang to mind. I think this is just a distraction to change focus that a meeting is actually happening.
