The Guardian used to be a reliable news source , they used to stick to facts .

   The IDF did NOT indicate that civilians deaths were 83 % .

The IDF stated that 17 % if deaths were named Hamas members .

The 83 % were unknown , they weren't necessarily civilians

If they are claiming 8,900 my guess would be abou 3,000.
