Criminal Court acquits Thaksin in landmark case

This week, a pilot initiative saw the release of 10 geese into the city's historic moat to investigate their potential role in cleaning the water and reducing pollution.

Two Dead and 13 Injured After Ambulance Runs Red Light in Rayong

It has now been confirmed that two died and 13 others were injured after a ambulance ran a red light and collided with a hatchback car, at an intersection in Ban Chang district, Rayong province.

Immigration Officer Wanted After Shooting Sisters, Killing One

Police in Ranong are hunting an immigration officer who allegedly opened fire on his two elder sisters, killing one and seriously injuring another, during a drunken rampage in the early hours of 22 August.

Thailand and Cambodia Agree on Mine Clearance

In a pivotal meeting held in Aranyaprathet, Thailand and Cambodia have pledged to work together on mine clearance, tackling transnational crime, and resolving border disputes. Lt-Gen Amarit Boonsuya, leading Thailand’s delegation, announced these initiatives as an expansion of the previous 13-point agreement established in a prior GBC meeting in Malaysia.
