Not kidding. You may not like a law but if you break it you will face consequences. That by definition makes it right.

It's actually a good deterrent to let people know that they can run but eventually their crimes catch up to them. Her last appeal was 20 years ago, that was probably long enough to get a flight booked. 

 

No law was broken. She merely was unable to secure asylum status. And her last appeal was not 20 years ago. Your representation of the woman appears libelous, based on statements from ICE, and numerous reliable reports.

I entered Thailand with the correct legal documentation. She did not. She violated US immigration requirements by remaining without legal status. For decades.  

 

I have a valid visa to remain legally until the visa expiry date. She did not. In fact she was under a final order of removal. Had she left as requested she could have flown back home in comfort on a flight of her own choosing. 

 

If my visa expired and I did not leave Thailand after being asked to for decades, I would not complain if I was eventually deported back to my home country. Neither would any of the bleeding hearts on here clutching their pearls about the deportation of this woman.
