Jihad Al-Shamie, out on bail for rape charges, led a deadly attack on a Manchester synagogue, killing Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz. Three others were hospitalised, and three additional suspects are under arrest for terrorist activities.

They were running out of jail space probably. Starmer has a lot of racist tweeters to worry about so rapists and murderers are out free in that country. Im glad the US has trump to implement some actual justice

I don't blame the police for letting him out on bail; they are just following the political instructions that are failing the UK and are the result of many useless consecutive governments.

From what I have seen, a country can take the local religion out of that country but can't take the religious training from that the future immigrant which that person may have undergone which is to hate the west IMHO.  I have lived among them, been shot at by them had friends and co-workers killed by them and have lived almost 80 years on this rock and realize that for many Religions, the hatred that they have begins when they are extremely young and they seem to be truely devout but then I see that since their founder died, they have split and now still almost 1500 years later kill each other within that same religion.  Among the many illegal immigrants are some great people probably, many of that religion as well but just too many remain against the west countries IMHO from what we see almost daily.  I do hope for peace throughout the world including the S%^$hole countries from which so many people continue to flee daily.  This is MHO anyway,

Erm, that's a little bit of an awkward revelation about the perp for Labour. Post a tweet that hurts fragile ears and it's straight off to jail for a few years, but be a rapist or violent offender and it's no problem to let them out. The UK justice system has lost its way through successively weak governments and ideaology.

This monster should have been sent to some harsh, foresaken, grim prison at the butt-end of nowhere - Russian penal colony style. Prison should be a place you want to avoid and thus have an interest in not breaking the law... instead of this nonsense we have now.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) had multiple red flags on Jihad Al-Shamie (35, British citizen of Syrian descent) that should have prompted deeper scrutiny before releasing him on police bail after his earlier 2025 rape arrest.

The failure to link his criminal history, online threats, and potential extremist leanings to a terrorism risk is a glaring oversight, especially given the UK's robust intelligence systems like Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW). This misstep allowed him to carry out the deadly synagogue attack on October 2, 2025 (Yom Kippur), killing two and injuring three.

These low lives laugh their guts out at the continuous politically weak west. Get easy entry into western countries claiming refugee status, free accommodation, free cell phone, free food, free lawyer, etc.  Then they do serious crimes, get free lawyer, no bail.  All the while impregnating 3 women, claim more welfare and produce more future voters for their ultimate cause, form their own political party and take over the country and

impose sharia law.  Will never happen in Japan.

His name might have given them a clue, yet the Home Office still gave a passport to a man named Jihad from Syria. 

My immigration rant, once again. Something must be done to keep out the extremist super freaks. Their religion may work for them in Saudi, Kuwait, Yemen, Sudan or Somalia. That same ultra conservative fanatislcism, is not wanted, needed, nor desirable in Western nations. Only moderates need apply should be the policy. And there should be a standard of willingness to assimilate, and the burden should be on the family to prove the burden is met.

 

I believe immigration policy should be reformed to the point where it should be staged, and all Muslim families should show a willingness to assimilate. I also believe that families with Muslim daughters who are teenagers can start by proving that they have  participated in a bikini contest, and for teenage boys they must show a burden of proof that they're not affiliated with any of the local madrasas. 

 

Are we serious about keeping our nation's safe from extremists, or not? This will probably be interpreted as a racist statement but for a long time I've been saying that immigration criteria for Saudis and other nations with extreme views and interpretations of Islam should be unique and singular and far strictly then normal immigration for other people from other parts of the world. 

 

It must never be forgotten that Saudi's and a few others practice the most extreme form of Islam, a hateful and horrific interpretation that is completely intolerant of other religions and is the exact opposite of what most of us would regard as any kind of positive faith. 

 

Huge and very strict restrictions should be put on their ability to immigrate, essentially they are not wanted and they are not needed, and for the most part they are not of any benefit to a society that let them in, as it is very unlikely they will ever integrate.
