Stephen Miller Blasts De Niro As ‘A Sad, Bitter, Broken Old Man’

image.jpeg.338677d99810e2239e8985917f7c24f4.jpeg

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller unloaded on actor Robert De Niro during a fiery appearance on Fox News’ Hannity, calling the Oscar winner “a sad, bitter, broken old man” after De Niro compared him to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels on MSNBC.

Miller ridiculed the 81-year-old actor’s career, saying De Niro “has not made a movie worth watching in at least 30 years” and has endured “the longest string of flops, failures, and embarrassments imaginable.” He added, “He’s not taken seriously by anybody — not by his family, not by his friends, not by his community. He is a shell of a man and everyone disregards everything he says.”

The outburst followed De Niro’s weekend tirade on MSNBC’s The Weekend, where the Goodfellas star called Miller a Nazi, praised New York Attorney General Letitia James for standing up to Trump, and told her detractors, “F— you.” De Niro accused Trump of being “an alien” who “wants to hurt this country,” predicting the president “will not want to leave” after his second term.

De Niro has been one of Trump’s most unhinged celebrity critics since 2016, regularly lacing public remarks with expletives aimed at the former president and Fox News hosts. In a 2019 CNN interview, De Niro infamously told critics to “F— them,” insisting America was living under a “gangster” president.

Miller’s remarks mark the latest escalation in a years-long war of words between Trump’s inner circle and Hollywood liberals who have sought to paint the president and his aides as extremists.

Key Takeaways:

  • Stephen Miller calls Robert De Niro “a sad, bitter, broken old man” on Hannity.

  • De Niro compared Miller to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels and called Trump “an alien.”

  • The actor’s long-running anti-Trump crusade continues to spark backlash from the White House.

What has Stephen Miller done to successfully entertain millions of people compared  to Robert De Niro.

Stephen Miller is nothing buy another thin skinned, washed up hack politician who is yet another little boot another like his master, Trump.

There is something very 'damaged' about De Niro - he has been off his rocker about Trump for many years. I believe Trump once called him a Ped**** in public, and De Niro has hated him ever since.  But overall, I think the Hollywood woke liberals, like De Niro, have a hatred for Trump that clearly shows they are without rational thought.  If they think a demented old man allowing in millions of illegals was good for the country, then they are clearly insane - IMO they have some other reasons to hate Trump and it is personal.  Perhaps one day in the future when Trump published his memoirs, we will learn the truth.

Take away his hatred towards Trump and he's just Robert Di Niro, an actor. A good actor, but still only an actor, and his opinion means the same as anyone else's. Too many articles on opinions from actors and sports figures, as if they're opinion means more than John Doe's. Not everything in life has to be political, left or right. Labeling is how prejudice takes hold, and the crap follows.

A lot of people have said that about de Niro, who by all accounts is a fantastic egomaniac.

Many don't realize that they are just actors, musicians, politicians and sports figures. Good at what they do and not much else. Part time entertainment that's replaced by the next in line, with millions of people just as good looking and talented that don't get the press. Hero worshiping has them paid way more than they're worth.

They have opinions just like everyone else. That others put more weight on them is stupid.

It invites hate. DeNiro is a halfwit. He was also a one trick actor. Good at the bad guy but crap at other acting.

I'll never take anything away from good actors. I don't like Tom Cruise but he does his own stunts and gives a decent performance, even if he's not believable in fighting. The are a few I respect like  Keanu Reeves, Clint Eastwood, Sidney Poitier, Eli Wallach, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Meryl Streep, Bogart, James Stewart, Paul Newman, Spencer Tracy, Ralph Fiennes, Tom Hanks, Willem Dafoe, Denzel, Dustin Hoffman, Steve McQueen, Frances McDormand, Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall,Robert Redford, Daniel Day Lewis, Katherine Hepburn , Laurence Olivier,  and others but again, they're just actors.

Some picture, he hasn’t looked that good in 20 years.  Not taking away anything from the old non-dementia Robert de Niro, he WAS a good actor.

What a joke if anybody believes that.

He's way too rich and famous to be sad and bitter.

And he's still working and getting great roles.

Not many people have a blessed life like he does.

But ... he decided to stick his nose into politics because ... why not?

He probably has friends in high places on the other team.

Millers idea to separate the children from their families without writing their names down. Another due process debacle on American citizen minors.

OMG....how infantile can you get?

I bet Miller's china dolls took a real beating that lunchtime.

Nobody who is worth hundreds of millions is miserable.

Plus fame is cool.

People notice you when you walk into a room.

Don't believe the media nonsense.

I don't believe in reincarnation, but if I did....

I'd be certain Heinrich Himmler came back as Stephen Miller (though Goebbels also works). In fact, any old Nazi is someone Miller channels.....a fascist, racist loser.

The resemblance and character are eerily similar.

Tony Robbins said so. He has met 50 of them. Said 4 were happy.

...and there's my LOL of the day.....555

DeNiro hast made a good movie in a long time and my quarrel with Miller is why would he lower himself to argue with a washed up actor who spent most of his career pretending to be a criminal.

DeNiro picture probably 20 years ago.

Let's try a recent picture.  Yep - Deniro looks and acts like a "sad, bitter old man." Gotta love that perpetual, "Who farted in my presence," look.
Fyi.  I don't like either DeNiro or Miller.  Miller probably wishes he had DeNiro's hair.  Don't like Trump either.  Screenshotfrom2025-10-2414-52-59.png.2f3906a17df20c81af6f62827d7b3544.png
