Life is boring

How the h*ll can anyone get bored in Thailand?!?
There isn't enough time to do/see/experience all there is to do/see/experience here. And that's without even leaving Chiang Mai!
We find we have to plan our week carefully so we can keep up with the things we want to do!

Name 50 things

We have no need of 50 'different' things. So long as you enjoy an activity, doing it daily is fun. But let's start with what we do EVERY week that takes up the most time.

My wife plays with her table tennis club 5-6 afternoons a week for fun and to stay in shape. The Japanese take their table tennis VERY seriously.
I play my sports with my group 3-4 days a week. At 79, this is enough physical activity to keep me healthy, but we also often go motorcycle touring on the weekends. Still a lot of places just in Northern Thailand that we haven't explored as yet.
When you don't spend every evening with your elbows on the bar, it's not so difficult to get out early and experience life outdoors. There's a lot of it to see.

No. But we clearly get it. You have no friends, no life, no hobbies, no real interests beyond hunting down cheap hotels and restaurants. There’s nothing going on with you, you're extremely lonely and,

10% of your life in an Isaan village being bored so much you want to leave but pretending it's not boring. Make up your mind. Try being honest. Isaan is dead boring. Your life is boring.

Try to understand what a person says before you reply. I repeat. Isaan is a boring place but that doesn't mean anyone living here is bored. Look again at my list. Take a few minutes and absorb it, as coming back with the same assumptions makes you look like a teenager arguing with his parents. I could assume that you are the most boring person alive, as your posts show this quite readily, but I don't assume. You're obviously an attention whore, but if you look at what others say about you, meaning the normal members here, you might see enough to have to stop what you do.

Your list is just a list. You have not done many of those things for years. The fact you keep responding means you are bored. If you had 50 exciting things to do you would not have time to talk to me.

For being honest? You are fooling nobody. Your life is worse than mine. I'm not stuck in Sisaket forced to choose between Amazon Coffee and arguing with me.

Harrisfan, are you that ignorant that you think you know what anyone on earth is doing in their lives unless you're with them 24/7? I'm actually watching The Sopranos and following the World Series now, along with talking to my daughter in Texas. Assumptions again.

I think a lot of guys here have no meaning in their life.

Once they get bored with the easy sex, and can't find a worthwhile woman to settle down with, and don't any family here, and if they aren't working...what else is there?

They are just a meaningless farang. Sure, they can have fun, but doesn't that get boring after so long?

I'd probably feel that way too if I didn't have work and family here.

It may take a while, but the novelty of the adult Disneyland wears off, I think.

You still didn't see that as sarcasm? I am talking with a teenager. One that has never learned the common sense of not assuming. You're actually stuck in your own life, with no escape. I'm not arguing. I'm pointing you out.

You're on here 18 hours a day and you listed Sisaket Amazon Coffee as exciting lol

At least I'm honest about being bored.

You repeat the same insults hundreds of times. Try being honest for once Fred. Your life sucks in Isaan.

At least I'm honest about being bored.

I think the best thing you could do, besides seeking help for your condition, is to actually read, and comprehend, what others say, then come back and reply. I was using sarcasm. Look up the definition. I never said Amazon was exciting. You asked me to list 5 things I did this year in Thailand. Can't understand the joke? And again, you do not know how long I'm on here as I'm always logged in, and that's again, another assumption added to your daily quota.

I'm not insulting you pointing out your weaknesses and assumptions. I'm plainly telling you that you're making many mistakes here, so it's advice for you to correct them.

You failed to list anything interesting. You have no life in Sisaket. Just admit it. Isaan is boring. You are so bored you have had at least 20 arguments with me.

The only reason people move to Isaan is to learn the ancient art of waiting.

I've never met you. Your posts are very dishonest and you flip flop.

To get a gf. It's fine for doing nothing. But most end up like Fred.

I love the irony, seeing two guys arguing that the other has a more boring life.

  1. the use of irony to mock or convey contempt...................Again you assume, even after I keep pointing out your failure to enter the reality of it. Again, I'm not arguing. I'm just letting you know how you fail here. so maybe it might be a lesson.

Get a gf and pay for her house is a more correct way to put it.

And then waiting to die while trying to convince you their life is less boring than yours by literally posting here all day.

I admit life is boring. He won't admit it. People with exciting lifes don't argue like that.

If you've never met me, how would you know if I've lied about anything? I have nothing to hide and no need to lie. You can't handle the truth.

You lie all the time.

I'm not arguing. I don't assume how others live, while he does.

You told the forum many times Thailand is boring. You argue with a dozen people 7 days a week.

Yep. All too funny. Most people are either bored or too busy to post here.

Lack of common sense, restraint, knowledge on subjects, an argumentative personality. along with an occasional mental illness thrown in.

To be fair, that covers many here, including yourself.

He's an interesting character. "I'm not bored" but I will spend the next 5 hours arguing with you.
