" Here is HEALTHandME, reporting from its trusty source TikTok about some mild congestion and (gasp) one blocked nostril:

A woman from the US, Nev, shared on TikTok that she began feeling slightly unwell on August 30, with mild congestion and one blocked nostril. The next day, she noticed a scratchy throat and continued congestion, but later that night, her symptoms worsened as she experienced pain in her teeth, jaw, and head. Her post quickly drew comments from others who said they had also suffered similar symptoms while infected with Covid.

👆 And of course the advice hasn’t changed…just keep getting that jab 💉…and when it doesn’t work that just means it’s working and gosh darn aren’t you lucky because it would’ve been…sooo much worse. "

Of course, if it wasn't so sinister, it would be a joke.

I think these new variants should be named after places in England. Start off with the 'Dagenham' variant. The 'Weston-super-Mare' variant would get people laughing, if not begging for the clot-shot. Then move up north to 'Newcastle upon Tyne' and 'Cockermouth'. The scope is limitless. Just need a little imagination.

Being an Essex lad, I'm still hankering for that greatest of English cars; the Ford Cortina. I had one or two back in the day. Great for attracting the ladies. Although I insisted they put on a mask, or I wouldn't let then get into the back seat with me.  So, why not a Ford Variant for the next model?

I notice the latest 'flu' jab is out. Don't stop no disease, but makes yer go out a buy a new car. A Ford of course. Something funny going on around here.

The guys who make up the names of the 'variants' must have a real laugh. Remember the FLiRT variant? The new Frankenstein movie is out on Netflix, they probably watched it and thought it would be funny to call this year's flu that way.

Would be interesting to know the vaccination status of all these people in hospital.
