Ukraine's intelligence services intercepted a phone call from a Russian woman, complaining about the terror residents regularly face from their own fighter jets.

 

Russian residents living close to the Ukraine border have accused their own airforce of intensively bombing them, in the latest fiasco involving Vladimir Putin's army. Belgorod region has been subjected to continual aerial bombardment by Ukrainian drones and missiles since the launch of the full-scale war in February 2022.

 

The Ukrainian have targeted oil refineries and military-industrial sites, as they seek to sow panic and chaos in the Kremlin's army. Local residents - unlike their counterparts in Moscow and St Petersburg - have felt the full terror of war. They have been subjected to many deprivations and emergency situations, as the region has come under repeated attack.
