Noem Demands Total Travel Ban After DC Shooting Sparks Fury

Its an admission that the DHS, the successor to the INS, is institutionally incompetant. A basic requirement of any immigration service is the ability to identify criminals among innocent travellers. The DHS, under the present Secretary, has admitted to approving an asylum application submitted by a man who went on to commit murder. In a normal government, heads roll, and the Buck isn't passed.  The Secretary should accept full responsibility for the actions of people reporting to her, and should resign, and her replacement institute a root and branch enquiry to root out incompetance within her department. Her department, remember, saw an $80bn increase in funding, and this is the result. I'm not sure how trying out a Danish (unAmerican) Lego car and going for a tour of the paddock supports her and Patel's mission to protect the Homeland. Conservative principals demand careful accounting of the spending of all taxpayer's money. Its not her money to spend on fancy jets.
