v8tfcorty
house of the dead. directed by uwe boll. This film is a prequel to all of the The House of the Dead video games. Set on an island off the coast, a techno rave party attracts a diverse group of college coeds and a Coast Guard officer. Soon, they discover that their X-laced escapades are to be interrupted by zombies and monsters that attack them on the ground, from the air, and in the sea, ruled by an evil entity in the House of the Dead... Written by was a very very very bad movie.
lannarebirth
Monalisa Smile is somewhat crappy as well. Didn't reach its intended depth. I got dragged to that bomb. Wretched!
lannarebirth
Silverado gets my vote. Makes my blood boil! Root canal work far more entertaining. Hmmmm, I thought it was pretty good. Maybe because I hadn't seen an original western in many years. OK, here's an awful one. Waterworld.
adjan jb
90 % of all the movies made in Hollywood. Money talks. This is not anti-americanism. I like what is made in NY. Old Hollywood movies were great but then "global money" was less a concern. Cinema was still an art. Nowadays few movies are pieces of art. I also believe that those movies are not made in the USA anymore. That said, the crappiest movie I've ever seen is a French movie: Le Tronc (The Trunk). I stayed until the end because I wanted to know how far (maybe I should say how deep) it was possible to go but everybody else walked out of the theater. A close second is an American peplum set in the Greek Antiquity. One of the zillion Greek heroes fights titans and cerberus and hydras and alll kinds of mythological monsters that turn out to be machines. Probably made in the 60's or 70's. I think the name has something to do with .... And the/versus Titans.
oswald
["Tidal Wave" starring Lorne Green (remember the tv show Gunsmoke) Originally titled "Nippon chinbotsu" (Japan is sinking) Lorne Green was dubbed in later to coax American audiences. Only film I ever walked out on.....and I was only 12 years old......that's bad. I think you mean the tv show "Bonanza"
JimsKnight
Hudson Hawk. Utter 90s <deleted> and the start of hollywoods serious decline into souless films. To sum it up the spiel on the back of the case tried to make out it the lead character was superior to all the marvel/DC comics heros. He isn't! Highlander 2 - The Quickening. Another 90s soul-destroying film. Very very crap, so bad in fact it's not even considered an official sequel these days! War of the Worlds. Very crap and overhyped. Tom Cruise sucks and is overrated. In Defense: Hey who's knocking Biggles? Biggles was cool! I loved that as a kid Alexander was ok too, I think audiences just haven't read the books properly. Waterworld isn't too bad, although it did flop at the box office but made it all back on the video market later. Plus it has a cult following too! lannarebirth
No crappiest movies list would be complete without "Showgirls". Throw in any movie Madonna appeared in as well.
lannarebirth
I reckon there are at least 4 good movies made from Stephen King books or stories. Never as good as the books but still pretty good:1. Stand By Me - Haven't seen it for a while but I enjoyed it at the time. 2. Shawshank Redemption - Watched it again last week and still thought it was a good movie. 3. The Shining - In my opinion and all time classic. But maybe it was the cinematography or maybe Nicholson won me over. 4. Green Mile - Maybe I need to see it again but it would be far from crappiest movie ever. I'll stick with the books for Carrie, The Stand, Misery etc. Yes, those were good movies. A really crappy one was "Maximum Overdrive". I think King may have even botched misdirected that one himself.

IMA_FARANG
1Alexander2Ghost Rider 3The Wicker Man 1. Vampire Hookers....a softcore porno film about Filippino hookers who live in a cemetary as vampires. (I'm not making this up) 2. Female Artillary......an Italian western about a wagon train that is attacked by bandits killing all the men on the wagon train. Then a cowboy arrives and drives off the bandits. The bandits follow the wagon train. The wagon train take refuge in a temporarily abandoned fort, and the cowboy and the women use the cannon in the fort to drive off a combined force of bandits and Indians that attack the fort. (And that is the believable part). 3. And then also should I mention.....FLESH GORDON and the EVIL PORNO RAY. A softcore porno take off on the old Flash Gordon comics from the 1930's. Plus it has a cult following too! Not the flop everyone thinks..........With a budget of $175 million, the film grossed $88 million at the U.S. box office, and was initially considered to be one of the biggest flops ever made. However, the film was successful overseas and made more than a $100 million profit.
