Hit And Run Accident On Sukhumvit Road

A speeding car hits a motorbike, and loses control to hit a policeman’s car leaving 3 people injured. The car eventually escaped and couldn’t be found.

Pattaya Police were informed of this incident that occurred on Sukhumvit Road near the entrance to Wat Nong Yai Temple at 10.45 pm on Sunday 19th August.

At the scene the police found a damaged motorbike and the Sawang rescuers giving first aid to the three injured people on the motorbike being a father, a mother, and their 4 year old daughter. All three had very serious injuries so were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Not so far off, was a damaged car which we later found belonged to a police officer.

From questioning the police got the details of the hit and run car that caused all this mess was a black Honda Civic but no one could remember the license plate numbers. All they know is this car fled in Sattahip direction and the police are trying to find the driver.
