Black Ink From Coloured Ink

Featured Replies

I have 2 sets of coloured ink bottles but no black one. Can I mix all the colours together to make black? :o

It'd probably help if you told us what colors you've left: the standard yellow, blue, red? If so, I'm guessing "yes," because my Epson printer has a feature that when you run out of black ink, you can choose an option which will mix the available colors to get black. Kinda handy when you don't have a spare black cartridge on hand and it's midnight (with a report due first thing next morning).

And kinda handy if you use Ink-Tanks than you dont need to buy Black after the time, just use the ink from Catrifge charging because it's mixed to black! :o
