A woman was found dead in a Samut Prakan house on January 19, prompting a police investigation. Authorities were alerted around 6:30 pm and discovered the body of 47-year-old Warinthorn inside a residence in Thai Ban subdistrict. The woman had blood coming from her mouth, and officials noted she had been dead for approximately three hours.

Prior events indicate the woman had been drinking with the homeowner, Khanittha, and her husband. Arriving at the house with drinks and food at 11 am, the trio drank together until the woman became heavily intoxicated. Witnesses reported she felt unwell, collapsed, and later became motionless, but no medical assistance was initially sought.

Khanittha told police it was the first time Warinthorn had visited her home for drinking. Another friend, Nongyao, arrived at 4 pm and assumed Warinthorn was asleep. The woman's husband returned later and found her unresponsive, not breathing, and bleeding.

Police suspect alcohol combined with a medical condition could be the cause of death. Investigators are questioning those present, and a post-mortem has been ordered. The case will proceed based on the autopsy results.

Looking forward, officials will continue their investigation, and further questioning of witnesses is expected. The incident raises concerns about recognizing medical emergencies related to alcohol use, reported The Thaiger.
