Well, my BENQ LCD TV went phut this morning :D Backlight comes on but no picture, audio or menu functions. Of course it's just outside warranty. :o

So, anyone know where (whether) the BENQ service centre is in BKK. We're in Pathum Thani but have transport.

BTW, Home Pro (Rangsit) have some reasonable Tatung 32" LCDs for 19,900 Baht (reduced from 28,900). Just bought one, gotta have my fix of telly and it can go in the bedroom when the BENQ is fixed. :D

These appear to be UK export models as they have SCART sockets and the TV channel presets are BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, C4. Manuals in English and Chinese.

It was a pain trying to get in touch with the BenQ service center. I finally did after being put on hold several times. I'm not sure if we're allowed to post names and phone numbers her though. PM me if you still need the contact info.
